There were many things we wished we could do one last time. Emily has spent far too many hours sitting in the car running errands with us these last few weeks, and she's been so patient. We wanted to take her to
Howlett's again before we left, and
Tiny Town,
Dobbie's to see the fish, all her favourite places. Alas, we have had time for very little. So the other day, when our plans fell through, the weather was graciously dry so the least I could do was put aside everything else for an hour and take her for a walk.
She couldn't decide whether Mickey Mouse or Dolly would win the right to an outing so they both had to squeeze in.
(Check out those dimples!)
"Home, Mummy!"
Not for much longer...!
She is so grown up in the pictures! And I love the third shot :)
ReplyDeleteI know - I keep looking at them and not believing how much she's grown. Was so happy she cooperated for that picture ;)
DeleteAw, so cute. Did she push the pushchair all the way or did you end up carrying it?
ReplyDeleteShe pushed it all the way except for any steps which she insists she can't do even though she can (if she doesn't realise she's doing it!)
DeleteSo sweet. I love toddlers pushing strollers. It's just so cute.
ReplyDeleteShe's very tuned into that maternal instinct lately... she likes changing her toys' nappies recently too!
DeleteA little mummy in training haha, cute! There are so many things that I'd like to 'get in' before I leave Monday but absolutely no time! I found myself taking photos on the bus this morning on the way to work haha- a few last memories :)
ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean... just taking in those everyday sights that will otherwise get forgotten. I've taken so many pictures of just outside our house in the past week it's becoming a little bit ridiculous LOL x
DeleteAll the pictures I've seen recently have made me think how much she looks like you, but in these she REALLY looks like David!
ReplyDeleteStrange - I saw these pics and for the first time EVER thought she looked like me!! haha
