Perfection

Photobucket

My mum is here at the moment, helping me with practical things like giving Emily her first bath (pictured), which I am pleased to report Emily enjoyed very much! Tomorrow, Emily will be three weeks old. I always knew I'd love being a mummy but I never for a minute imagined I'd love it this much. I feel complete. No matter what, I cannot get enough of this little one. I only wish I could freeze certain moments in time.

  6. All through my childrens' lives I've actively thought I MUST REMEMBER THIS MOMENT and actually it kind of works: the pure bliss in my daughter's eyes half-shutting as she feeds, my son as a toddler spending hours playing with a stick in a puddle as the dying sunlight hits it - me cross then remembering this will NEVER be quite like this again! And the old cliche is oh so true - they grow up so quickly! Enjoy her, she's beautiful!
