The nursery is coming along nicely. It's always wonderful watching a room take shape, and this one is extra special. There are still a couple pieces of furniture we need to find (or decide on), but plenty of time yet...
Speaking of plenty of time (!), I started packing a couple of things into my hospital bag last night. It's already looking like I'm going to need a much, much bigger bag than the one I'd initially (optimistically) had in mind.

OH! I am so excited for you and miss Emily! I love everything you have in the nursery (of course) but especially that little owl! Too cute. xoxo
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog-- your bump is too cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the little owl.
owl love
ReplyDeleteI love nursery reveals :) I can't wait to start working on ours.
ReplyDeleteThat little owl is soo cute
ReplyDeleteWow it looks like an advert ...gorgeous :) Make sure you pack the bag in advance... dear Theo was born at 36 + 2!! Thank goodness I'd just made it up. Also pack a dummy ( I thought I wouldn't bother for just the first night and spent the whole night with my finger in her mouth ...besides other parts lol!)
ReplyDeleteThank you Rob for the very practical advice!!! *adds dummy to list* I've read that the bag should ideally be packed as of 28 weeks just in case, so it's been on my mind for a few days now! xx
ReplyDeleteWow - that little owl seems to be quite a hit! ;)
Kle,
ReplyDeleteEmily is very cute, did you give any consideration to Emma? Maybe she'll grow up to be as gorgeous as Emma Peel was :)
Hi Moey! We've spent months thinking and debating her name - believe me when I say we've considered everything! There are several reasons she will not be named Emma, not including the fact that we ruled out names ending with -a because of the way they sit with our surname. We have not taken our "naming responsibility" lightly but thank you for your two pence. I'm sure she'll be the most beautiful child in the world to us ;)
ReplyDeleteOooo little baby things - how gorgeous :) I've not bought anything yet - but this week I shall shop intensely!!!! Fab hospital bag link! I've just posted on that & after checking the link there is still stuff I've missed off my list!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think with hospital bags, there's always more you can add... just one of those things haha x
ReplyDeleteHi I have just popped over from Blow your Own Bloghorn, pleased to meet you. Your site is beautiful
