L'Anniversario #1

Today a year ago, it all happened. Everything I had ever wished for came together and came true.* It hasn't been an easy year since October 2008. If anything, more things went wrong this year than in any other year. But we are good together. We adore each other's company, never tire of it; we make each other laugh, and left alone, we're just a couple of lovestruck teenagers. We've kept each other afloat, strong, and looking forward.

  2. Oh my God! Your honeymoon photos brought back all those lovely memories I have of Mauritius. We too went there for our honeymoon. We spent three unforgettable weeks over there. What a lovely place it is. If I had to emigrate anywhere that's where I would go..Mauritius : an island of tropical flowers, exotic beaches, and happy people. Thanks for rekindling my memories. Did you try the dholl puri? mmmm

  3. Congrats on your one year anniversary! May you two have many, many more to come. My husband and I will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary on the 13th of Oct. Your pictures were beautiful! The church was stunning! We just don't have architecture like that here in Ohio. Boo. Congrats again!

  4. Ah! You went to Mauritius for your honeymoon?! This is why I have to live in Europe. I don't think more than 1percent of Americans have ever even heard of Mauritius, let alone consider having their honeymoon there.

Beautiful wedding, beautiful photos! Oddly enough your husband looks a lot like a cousin of mine in Greece...

zen - i'm not sure i tried that!!!!

melina - yeah, that's true. but then the states are so massive there's a lifetime of places to see there too i guess? hubby often gets mistaken for other nationalities. we were in egypt in 2007 and the locals started speaking to him in arabic lol. then again, malta isn't the first guess that usually springs to mind either!!
